Euro floor makers hammer out Drum Sound Standard for laminate

The European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF) has established the Drum Sound Standard, which incorporates uniform test procedures and measuring criteria for laminate flooring. The standard defines how the sound generated by walking on a laminate floor is measured and evaluated, and will likely have ramifications on the North American market in the near future.
