InterfaceFLOR tile made with INgeo fiber

InterfaceFLOR Inc., a new company created by Interface Inc., has debuted high-style modular floor covering (19 1/2 square-inch tiles) made from Ingeo sustainable fiber. The tiles can be replaced as needed, with used tiles sent back to the company for recycling.

Ingeo is a branded, proprietary fiber based on a technology that allows man-made fibers to be derived from corn. In flooring applications, the fiber features stain resistance, UV resilience, soft feel, vibrant colors, and lasting performance, according to InterfaceFLOR.

The new flooring system, called InterfaceFLOR tile, can be applied on most surfaces including linoleum, vinyl, hardwood, and concrete.
