The new Mohawk Power Sweep promotion, which runs through Nov. 4, offers new ways for retail salespeople to earn points in the company's ongoing Rewards Plus program.

Qualifying products include all Anso, all Stainmaster and all Wear-Dated carpets from Mohawk, plus select hardwood, laminate, ceramic, and Congoleum products from Mohawk Hard Surface. Also, all Mohawk Laminate products that use the DuraLoc Plus installation system will earn more points per square foot than ever before. And during this period, when a salesperson sells Mohawk's Platinum carpet cushion -- a new category for Mohawk Rewards Plus -- those orders are eligible for Mohawk Rewards Plus points.

Sales of Mohawk branded Anso, Stainmaster, and Wear-Dated carpets claimed during the promotion also contribute to the fight against breast cancer. During the promotion, Mohawk will make donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as part of its ongoing Decorate for the Cure effort.

Any retail salesperson who participates in the Rewards Plus program registers once and establishes one account. He or she then accumulates points from all Rewards Plus programs in one place. Hence, the salesperson can accumulate points from multiple Mohawk Rewards Plus promotions to build his or her points total and earn better awards.

All retail salespeople (and store owners who make retail sales) are eligible to participate in the program. Points can be redeemed any time during the year. The "Mohawk Rewards Plus" system has no paperwork. Qualifying orders for a store are posted in the system, and salespeople claim the specific orders they sold.
