More than 500 business partners, friends, family, shareholders and employees of Aliquippa, Penn.-based Ardex joined together to celebrate the company's first quarter-century in the United States.
Ardex has grown from a small, labor-intensive manufacturing plant to a state-of-the-art production facility. Ardex worldwide is a manufacturer of specialty cements used by flooring and building professionals.
In August 2000, Ardex acquired the W.W. Henry Co., the world's largest manufacturer of flooring adhesives used with resilient flooring, carpet and wood. This move has expanded Ardex's leadership position to include complete flooring installation systems.
