Natalie Kay Henderson receives Textile Rubber Scholarship
She is the daughter of Drennon and April Rackley of Dalton. Drennon serves as a third shift supervisor in Textile Rubber & Chemical Co.'s latex compounding department and has worked with Textile Rubber for 13 years. The scholarship program, which provides funding for a full four-year college education for a child of a company employee, was established in 1984 in memory of Joseph E. Willard, a longtime assistant to Harvey Howalt, chairman. The scholarship selection committee consists of company executives including Diane Cook, Ed Canler, Steve Pieniaszek, and Alan Sellers.
Having graduated in the class of 2003 with highest honors, Henderson plans to enter Berry College in the fall and pursue a degree in mass communications.
