Exterior tile installation at Miami's FIU School of Architecture was achieved using MAPEI products.

In collaboration with BEA International, Bernard Tschumi Architects of New York and Paris designed a 102,000 square foot facility, comprising four buildings connected by bridges and covered outdoor stairs, at Miami's FIU School of Architecture. For part of the exterior installation, 15,000 square feet of tile was set using MAPEI products.

The Place for Tile, Miami, owned and managed by David Mazor, completed the work using MAPEI's Kerabond/Keralastic system and Keracolor U grout. Some tiles were installed on panels that were tilted backward at a 30-degree angle, 30 feet up in the air. According to Mazor, MAPEI Kerabond made the installation successful.
