The Carpet Cushion Council has elected Jack Lens as its president. Lens is president of Mohawk Industries Inc., based in Torrington, N.J. The council also elected Steve Drap of Foamex as vice president, Ernest Schorsch of Scottdel as secretary and John Mitchell of Sponge Cushion as treasurer.
