The U.S. Patent Office has granted another patent on the Alloc laminated flooring products sold by Alloc Inc. The patented Alloc flooring system consists of a mechanical joint system for glueless installation of laminated flooring panels. The system was invented in Sweden in 1993, and Alloc Inc. (formerly Norske Skog Flooring) has the exclusive rights to the mechanical locking system technology in the United States. The recent patent is the fourth granted to the Alloc flooring system.
