The Spring is Green promotion is also designed to tie into Shaw's second sponsorship of the HGTV Green Home Giveaway. Viewers can enter to win the home in St. Lucie County, Fla., which is made using the greenest building materials and appliances available, from April 17 to June 5. To showcase its sponsorship, Shaw said all Spring is Green POP Kits will include product tags for the eco-friendly carpet, hardwood and tile & stone flooring featured in the 2009 HGTV Green Home.

Beginning March 7, Shaw said it will begin airing television spots promoting the Spring is Green event on DIY, TLC and HGTV. Additionally, a national print campaign will appear throughout the spring in leading shelter publications includingCountry Living, Sunset, Traditional Home, Southern Living, House Beautifuland special interest publications.
