Shaw Industry’s spring trip to the
International Home Furnishings Market will be highlighted this year by a
new collection of 22 area rugs. The line, Transitions, is the centerpiece of
Shaw Living’s ambitious product rollout of 57 new rugs at the March 26 - April
1 meeting in High Point, N.C.
The company says
its Transitions line will feature stylish transitional and
contemporary, 5'5" x 7'8" rugs in a range of colors including rich
reds, warm neutrals, golds, soft greens, and accents of eggplant, brown, and
vintage blue. The machine-woven, olefin rugs will carry a suggested retail
price of $379.
Additionally, Shaw’s Impressions
line will grow to 49 items with the addition of 17 new entries, including Applause, which is described as “a
striking contemporary design full of movement and color.” Also new is Requiem, described as “a classic
damask pattern offered in two of the hottest color combinations of today, black
with white and blue with brown.” Items in the line will carry a suggested retail
price of $499.
Eighteen new arrivals
will also be added to the more value-priced Accents collection, bringing the line to
55 rugs. Entries in this collection include Zimbabwe, which is described as a “zebra
pattern with a modern twist.” Items in the collection will have a suggested retail price of $179.
The new items will be
among the area rugs on display during Market Place at Market
Square, Suite
204. For more information, visit www.shawliving.com.
