Laminate flooring maker Faus Group had added three flooring
veterans to its management team, including two executives who were formerly
with distributor Hoboken Floors. Ken Freedman, formerly vp of national accounts
for Hoboken, has been named director of Fausfloor sales. Steve Ehrlich, most
recently Hoboken’s senior vp of marketing, has joined as product development
director. Additionally, Jeff Berl has been elevated to national sales manager.
Freedman has more than 20 years of
experience working with nearly every channel in the industry. Aside from his role
at Hoboken, he has held sales and marketing management positions with Alloc,
CCA Global Partners and Mohawk Industries.
“Ken is a great addition to our
management team and the Fausfloor program,” noted Faus Group president Juan
Flores. “His background and passion will strengthen relationships with our
distribution and retail partners.”
Former Hoboken executive Ehrlich
brings more than 17 years of experience to his new position as product
development director. He has also held management positions with Color Tile and
the Expo Design Center division of Home Depot.
“Steve brings great experience in
product and merchandising,” Flores said. “He is going to reinforce Faus’
commitment to design and innovation, and strengthen the execution of our programs.”
Berl was most recently a Northeast
regional sales manager for Faus. Prior to joining the company, he was a Northeast
territory account manager for Milliken Carpets for eight years.
“Jeff has done a great job
introducing our products into his territory,” noted Flores. “He is clearly an
expert in the flooring business and will now be able to share his knowledge and
enthusiasm with the rest of our partners.”
