‘In-depth knowledge of distributor and retailer issues': Patterson to join Anderson as vp sales

Industry veteran John Patterson has accepted the role of vp sales for Anderson Hardwood Floors. Set to begin his new position March 1, he will be responsible for “companywide sales growth, distributor relationships and management of the Anderson team.” Patterson has more than 35 years of experience, including executive positions with Mannington Mills, Columbia Flooring and most recently Scandian Wood Floors.
Don Finkell, president and CEO of Anderson, said he was excited that Patterson plans to join the team. “[Patterson’s] proven ability to grow every business he has been associated with makes him someone any company would be excited about having on board,” he noted.
Added Jeff Sills, Anderson’s COO, “[Patterson’s] in-depth knowledge of distribution and retailer issues will add insight to our senior management team and reinforces our commitment to our distributor channel. Our goal is to become the most important hardwood line our distributor’s carry and with John’s help we will continue to move in that direction.”
