Armstrong Commercial has revamped its website with the EcoScorecard tool.

Armstrong Commercial has updated its website at www.armstrong.com/flooring with details on how each product can contribute to LEED points and the EcoScorecard tool that allows users to evaluate products under several “green” rating systems.

According to Shannon Weir, Armstrong’s sr. marketing manager, the site was redesigned to “not only inform customers about the Armstrong product portfolio, but provide information about how and where to utilize our products in their projects in a much easier-to-use, easy-to-navigate way.”

“Visiting the site, customers will more quickly be able to find the technical information they want,” she noted. Along with expanded access to information, additions to the site also include “clearer information pathways, improved graphics and an enhanced interface.”

The site ties into Armstrong’s SmartSample program, which aims to reduce the use of paper through electronic means. These include electronic versions of all literature, an Armstrong Source Guide available on CD, and the web-based EcoScorecard tool. SmartSample also features a sample reuse program that allows customers to return products at the end of their lifecycle for reuse.
