IVC US Inc. was named Carpet One Partner of the Year at the recent Carpet One Floor & Home winter convention in Irving, Texas. The Dalton, Ga.-based company's cushion backed sheet vinyl was chosen from a pool of vendor products by members for "its realistic natural look and ease of installation and removal," according to IVC. Xavier Steyaert, IVC US's president and CEO, accepted the award during a special presentation before the official opening of the show.

"This type of recognition is a real honor for our company and the people who have worked with the Carpet One management and members since introducing the PVC cushioned back vinyl category in 2004," Steyaert said. "The acceptance of IVC vinyl and the phenomenal growth since then is a true testament to the teamwork between both organizations."

Steyaert said his company was especially honored because it was up against a high level of competition. Stefaan Debusschere, vp sales and marketing for IVC US, said his company was looking forward to continuing the partnership. "With the recent introduction of Carpet One's premium Titanium Collection, we have set the framework for continued future growth," he said.
