The CBC (AMERICA) Corp. is not only an international trading company based in Japan, it is also the driving force behind two leading names in commercial flooring: TOLI and CERES. Operating as independent brands under the Flooring Division of CBC (AMERICA) Corp., headquartered in Commack, NY, both TOLI International and CERES offer an extensive range of flooring products that deliver outstanding quality, design and performance.

Sharing a strong sense of responsibility to the environment in which we live and work, the two brands enable CBC (AMERICA) Corp. to bring both vinyl and PVC-free flooring options to the commercial marketplace.

TOLI International

In 2009, TOLI, the largest flooring manufacturer in Japan and among the top 10 in the world, celebrates 20 years in the U.S.  market. TOLI’s Mature sheet flooring, boasting the longest record of performance in the industry, also enjoys 20 years of setting the standard for commercial wood grain sheet flooring and visual appeal in commercial applications across the country.

TOLI’s tenure in the U.S. market has also seen the introduction of award-winning Linotesta vinyl enhanced tile, trend-setting Lightstone and Lightwood, and LL300 modular vinyl flooring, offering a unique composition of 65 percent post-industrial waste.

Backed by CBC (AMERICA) Corp.’s international reach and perspective, in 2009 TOLI will kick off another notable 20 years with the enhancement of existing product lines through technological advancements and new color offerings.

CERES Flooring Products

Recognizing the desire of many industry professionals to source materials that make their structures greener or more environmentally friendly, CBC (AMERICA) introduced CERES™ Flooring Products.

Featuring natural cork, recycled rubber and PVC-free tile and sheet sourced from the best manufacturing facilities worldwide, the CERES brand focuses on emerging trends toward products with PVC-free construction, perfectly complementing TOLI’s broad and proven offerings.

For 2009, CERES will remain focused on the expansion of its PVC-free product line, with all new colors in WELS sheet flooring joining the recently launched CERES Cork C2.

New Management Team

Last year, CBC (AMERICA) Corp. made a significant commitment to leading the company’s Flooring Division forward, with the selection of two industry veterans who have over 45 years experience.

Jeff Collum will oversee the Flooring Division, and brings an impressive 23 years of senior sales and marketing success with multiple brand challenges, distribution channel improvements and visionary corporate planning roles. Chip Braulick, who will manage marketing and product functions, also brings 23 years of senior marketing experience to the company, with past successes ranging from product launches and enhancements to world-class marketing plans.

Collum and Braulick will work closely with Reggie Ohishi, CBC (America) Director from Japan working in the United States, overseeing global product sourcing.
