One retailer has decided while it might be difficult to change the economy, it is not nearly as difficult to get in shape. Costen Floors, a 61-year-old retailer based in Richmond, Va., recently implemented a “wellness program” to keep staffers fit. As part of the program, the company now has a walking path and “healthier snacks in its vending machines,” the company said. For its efforts, Costen Floors was recently recognized as a Fit-Friendly Company by the American Heart Association.
