LG Hausys Floors, along with its Midwestern sales organization E.J. Welch Co., recently hosted a hospitality event during NeoCon 2009 in Chicago. A buffet-style luncheon was offered to members of the architectural & design community, as well as builders, developers and other key industry figures. The event was held at the E. J. Welch showroom, just two blocks from Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.

“First of all, it was the perfect year for us to not have a booth at the show,” said David Thoresen, exec vp LG Hausys America. “Considering that attendance was down and most of our big new product launches are coming later in the year, it will be much better for us to return to NeoCon in 2010. The venue we chose was much better for us, and it allowed us to meet with architects, designers and specifiers in a more casual setting.”

Mike Welch, president of E.J. Welch Co., added, “Architects and designers are always looking for attractive products. LG offers well-engineered, durable resilient flooring that also meets the aesthetic demands of the architectural community.”
