The fall edition of the Las Vegas Market, set for Sept. 14-17 at World Market Center Las Vegas, will include a Trend Series to offer attendees a glimpse of "what's hot and what's on the horizon for next season," according to event organizers.
"First Look: Last Vegas" will kick off the market 8:30 a.m. Sept. 14 with a live event offering previews of new products launching exclusively at the show. The event is designed to give interior designers and retailers a chance to see some highlights from "top-performing products in several categories and tiered price points," organizers noted.
The fall market will also feature "Looking at Trends From the Inside Out," 10:30 a.m. Sept. 14. The presentation by Robin Waters, former vp trend, design and product development for Target, will offer an environmental take "on the macro marketplace." On the following day, Jackie Jordan, forecaster and director of color marketing for Sherwin-Williams, will explore the latest color trend forecast including "the leading shades and major players for 2010." The seminar, called "Color Trends of Tomorrow," will be held at 10:30 a.m.
On the final day of market, three leading designers will discuss home trends and style directions in "Ahead of the Curve," set for 8 a.m. Sept. 16. The live webcast will feature designers Timothy Corrigan, Laura Kirar and Vicente Wolf in an event moderated by style guru, author and regular Today show contributor Susanna Salk.
