Hardwood flooring distributor Horizon Forest Products (HFP) and sister company Long Floor have relocated their Beltsville, Md., branch to a new 36,000 sq. ft. building. The new facility is located at 10549 Tucker Street in Beltsville.
Phil Kearney, manager of the Beltsville location said the new location will create “greater company efficiency and will improve overall customer service and satisfaction.“
“In our new space, we’re able to provide inside truck loading, which is ideal during inclement weather,” he noted. “We also have more showroom space and the capacity to set up the product store that our other branches have been able to do, and have been able to bring together our inside and counter salespeople, who were previously located in two separate locations in the building. Overall, we now have a larger, cleaner, more sales friendly, and more convenient location.”
The Beltsville branch employs 15 employees and most recently occupied a 27,000 sq. ft. facility. Kearney added that the new location offers a much larger parking area, allowing the branch to set aside priority spaces for customer parking.
“I am extremely pleased and proud of the effort that every one of my teammates put forth to enable us to get the job done,” he said. “Our customers will benefit from a much easier buying experience in the new flooring store, and we can now expose them to products they may not have realized we carried.”
HFP and Long Floor offer customers more than 75 years of industry experience, with locations in North and South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia. For more information, visitwww.horizonforest.com.
