Canadian distributor Primco Limited of Calgary, Alberta, was recently named Roppe's 2009 Distributor of the Year. Primco signed on as a Roppe distributor three years ago.

“Primco supported our full line of products immediately in a market that knew very little about Roppe or our products,” said Bart Rogers, Roppe Holding Co.'s vp sales and marketing. “We have seen their sales grow steadily due to the dedication of their management team providing architectural and specification support in that market that is second to none.”

Primco has been serving the Western Canadian building materials market for more than 60 years, switching their business focus strictly to flooring products in 1987. Primco is led by President Wayne Overacker, who started with the company as a sales representative in 1966. Vice President Grant Bjerke and Sales Manager Cameron Overacker work together to promote the Roppe product offerings throughout their target markets. Primco Limited has several locations in addition to their main branch in Calgary, including Edmonton, AB; Richmond, BC; Winnipeg, MB; Regina and Saskatoon, SK.
