Nourison, Couristan and Colonial Mills Inc. (CMI) were among the winners of the America’s Magnificent Carpet Awards, held during the winter Atlanta Rug Market. Awards were presented by AmericasMart's Chas Sydney and Jeff Peterson ofArchitectural Digest, which sponsored the awards event.

Winners were selected from the Museum of Introductions gallery at AmericasMart by an independent panel of judges. The 2010 AMCA winners are: Handmade $0 –12 per sq. ft: Loloi; Power-loomed $0-200: Marcella Fine Rugs; Handmade $12.01-23 per sq. ft.: Neman; Power-loomed $200.01-400: Couristan; Handmade $23.01-35 per sq. ft.: Authentic Looms; Power-loomed $400.01-1000: Colonial Mills; Handmade $35.01-46: Amici; Power-loomed $1000.01+: Nourison; Handmade $46.01-56 per sq. ft.: Kalaty; Handmade $56.01-65 per sq. ft.: Shalom Brothers; Handmade $65.01+ per sq. ft.: Ariana; Antique: Chaman; Contemporary: Renaissance; and Buyer’s Choice Award: Capa Imports.

Additionally, one showroom on each of the Area Rug floors was recognized for extraordinary visual merchandising innovations with the Visual Display Award (VDA). The 2010 VDA winners are Floor 3: Rizzy Rugs; Floor 4: Caravan Rugs; Floor 5: Chandra Rugs; and Floor 6: Dayln.
