WFCA seeks nominees for Hall of Fame
The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) is now accepting applications for nominations to the Floor Covering Industry Hall of Fame. The current roster of 37 inductees is a virtual “Who’s Who” of the floor covering industry.
To be considered as a candidate, a nominee must be nominated by a sponsor who will complete a thorough application process detailing the nominee’s work history, significant accomplishments, industry, trade, governmental and civic accomplishments. Nominees can come from any sector of the floor covering industry.
Applications, guidelines and a list of current inductees are available by writing the WFCA at: World Floor Covering Association, 2211 E. Howell Ave., Anaheim, CA 92806; by calling (800) 624-6880 ext. 17; or by faxing (714) 978-6066.
The deadline for submitting completed Hall of Fame applications is November 5, 2010. Nominations will be reviewed and sent to a special committee for consideration. All nominations are confidential. If an inductee or inductees are selected, an award presentation and formal induction ceremony will take place at a yet to be determined location in 2011.
