Celebrating 25 years, Lauzon Distinctive Hardwood Flooring invited more than 200 guests from across North America to the prestigious Fairmont Chateau Montebello in Montebello, Quebec. The 25th anniversary event included a cocktail hour, a speech from founder and owner David Lauzon, dinner, and live entertainment.

Guests gathered outdoors for cocktails, after which they were thanked personally by David Lauzon, before enjoying a gourmet meal and live entertainment. Specially appointed Lauzon “ambassadors” greeted guests at the door and presented them with custom-made gifts made from the same hardwood that Lauzon uses for its high-end flooring.

“The event was Lauzon’s way of thanking their many suppliers, customers and employees for the phenomenal growth that the company has experienced over the past 25 years,” the company said. “From one sawmill and seven people, Lauzon is now 11 facilities throughout Quebec with over 800 employees. The company owns and operates two distribution centers, a world-class sawmill and four finishing plants, manages nearly 1,000,000 hectares of public forests (50% of which are FSC-certified) and owns and manages 22,000 hectares of private forest. In the last two decades, Lauzon has ranked three times as one of Canada’s top 50 privately owned companies, and has won countless awards from both industry and government.”
