Savula promoted to AmericasMart exec vp leasing
David Savula has been named exec vp in charge of AmericasMart Home and Gift leasing for all permanent showroom facilities in Buildings One, Two and Two West Wing, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and coo of AmericasMart Atlanta and its parent entity, AMC Inc.
Savula’s promotion, approved by action of the AMC Board on April 27, follows a seven-year tenure as svp in charge of AmericasMart’s Home showroom leasing, which has grown significantly under his leadership. Savula’s career spans more than 15 years in the home and gift industry, including sales and leasing positions in a North Carolina wholesale marketplace.
“Dave’s passion for our business and our brand, together with an unfailing commitment to serving customer needs large and small, shines through in all that he does,” Portman said. “His charge both recognizes the growing complementary role of home and gift in our marketplace, and positions us to enhance seamless synergy between Buildings One, Two and Two West Wing. This new position sets the stage for a broader AMC strategic initiative to be unveiled in the coming months.”

AmericasMart Buildings One, Two and Two West Wing enclose more than four million sq. ft. of the aggregate seven million sq. ft. AmericasMart Atlanta campus. They collectively house more than 1,000 permanent home and gift showrooms across 11 product centers, including Furniture; Accessories; Fine Linens; Area Rugs; Holiday/Floral/Home; Gift; Living & Entertaining/Gifts, Tabletop & Accessories; Gift & Resort; Gourmet & Housewares; and Living.
