Abbey Carpet to carry Teragren products
Teragren has signed an agreement with Abbey Carpet Co. -- which includes Abbey Carpet & Floor, Floors to Go and The Floor Club -- to provide Teragren bamboo flooring and countertop products to Abbey’s participating retailers.
“We are very excited about this partnership with the Abbey Carpet Company,” said Teragren President and CEO David Knight. “As one of the major retail flooring groups in North America, Abbey Carpet has an excellent network of top retailers. Teragren bamboo flooring and countertop products will now be available to an even broader consumer audience.”
“Teragren has great brand recognition because their products are of the highest quality,” added David Hardy, Abbey's exec vp merchandising. “It’s also a great alternative to traditional hardwoods for the rapidly growing segment of environmentally conscious consumers.”
Under the terms of the agreement, Abbey members will have access to Teragren’s eight complete FloorScore-certified bamboo flooring product lines, all flooring accessories, stair parts and bamboo countertops/table tops. The program will formally launch at Abbey’s annual convention, Feb. 10, 2011, in Reno, Nevada.
