Four members of the American A&D community will be chosen for a free, week-long architectural junket to Spain in 2011 as part of Tile of Spain’s “Reign in Spain A&D Tour” program. Beginning Nov. 1, interested parties can find more information and application forms atwww.spaintiles.info. They will have until Dec. 1, to submit applications. The four winners will be notified by Dec. 10.

The first half of the trip will include several days seeing notable sites and attractions in Spain that are of architectural and design significance. The latter half of the trip includes visiting Cevisama 2011 in Valencia, as well as factory and booth tours, and a press conference.

The preliminary “Reign in Spain” itinerary is set to include: leaving the U.S. for Madrid (Feb. 4); traveling to Zaragoza by Spain’s high-speed Alta Velocidad Española train network to explore culturally and architecturally significant sites (Feb. 5-7); traveling to Teruel to view Mudéjar architecture (Feb. 7); visiting the Cevisama 2011 trade show in Valencia (Feb. 8-11); then departing for the U.S. (Feb. 12).

Accommodations include: round-trip airfare from the United States to Valencia, single occupancy hotel room for duration of stay, group transportation during the tour (does not include cab or bus fare for city exploration during free time), admission to scheduled attractions and tradeshow, and some group meals.
