Following is a brief overview of some of the companies that will be exhibiting at the upcoming Domotex 2011 show, Jan. 15-18 in Hannover, Germany. Search for more exhibitors and products here.
Flooring Industries, the intellectual property company of the Unilin Group, has developed a new locking mechanism for solid hardwood flooring planks. Flooring Industries’ new profile has been designed so it can be manufactured on basic double-end tenoner machines to avoid substantial investments on the part of the solid wood manufacturers.
Homag Group has developed a new trimming machine for Välinge’s 5GS profile, adding another choice to the already available screw cutter developed by Välinge.
The Välinge screw cutter is based on the same platform as the Välinge High Precision Inserter, both performing extreme position tolerances of +/- 0,4mm in high running speeds. Both these units as well as the Homag 5GS trimming machine only occupy one motor position each in the DET.
Homag and Välinge have for some time discussed solutions on an integrated system with the DET for those who prefer a turnkey solution from Homag. The solution will have its own PLC, which will be linked to the existing PLC of the machine. The movement principle is based on a parallel working kinematic.
RadiciGroup is exhibiting its Radifloor® BCF yarn range for the contract and residential sectors. The focus is on new counts – such as 1000 and 1300 dtex – in the PA 66 Radifloor Contract yarn line, as well as on the new Radifloor Residential line of PA 66 1000-dtex 84-filament (dpf = 12) yarns.
RadiciGroup is also showcasing: Radigreen polyolefin and polyamide artificial grass yarns, including Radigreen Landscape Classic, Radigreen Landscape Excellence and MY RADIGREEN lines for residential and commercial applications; and the expanded Radilon staple 6 fiber range.
