ASID President Michael A. Thomas, FASID, launched a nine-member task force in June that has been responsible for obtaining input from ASID stakeholder groups and developing the leadership criteria and job description for a new exec vp/ceo. The task force, comprised of a team of ASID members and officers, has retained the consultancy services of The Greenway Group to manage the search and hiring process. “This endeavor will be a thoughtful and thorough process, one that will require the task force to look to the future of the design profession to ensure that ASID remains the leading voice of the profession and continues to be the definitive resource for our members as our profession continues to evolve,” said Thomas.

To help achieve this goal, the task force has outlined a scope of strategic activities to guide the future direction of the organization, including a continued commitment to support emerging professionals, students, and the diverse and evolving practice needs of ASID members.
