Catherine (Cathy) Panagakos has joined the adhesive division of Helmitin Inc. as corporate accounts manager. Previously she was director of OEM sales for Royal Adhesives.
Panagakos worked for Para Chem from 1999 to 2010, serving as purchasing manager, director of marketing and vice president of sales for the adhesive division. She also served the industry in the position of director OEM sales under the Royal Adhesives name after Para Chem was sold to Arsenal Capitol Partners.
In the flooring industry, she served a three-year term on the board directors for FIANA and served on several committees for FCICA throughout her career.
“I worked in the plastics industry for 20 years as a manufacturer’s rep and never made as many friendships as I have in the flooring industry,” Panagakos said. “I feel very fortunate and blessed to be working in a field where everyone wants to help one another.”
