Sphinx by Oriental Weavers has appointed Ricky Delise and Chistopher Bushur as sales representatives for Northern California, and Kimberly Stockwell as a sales representative for New England. Delise and Bushur will both report to Monica Battles, Western regional vp sales. Stockwell will report to Sam Belak, Northeast regional vp sales.

Delise will be responsible for developing new business and managing sales for existing dealers who carry Sphinx area rugs and rug pad for his geographic area. Over the last 10 years, he has represented well-known furniture and accessory lines and has developed strong relationships with top retailers throughout Northern California.

Bushur brings over 20 years of broadloom experience to Sphinx. Prior to joining Sphinx, he has held territory sales positions at both Karastan and Prestige Mills. Over the years, he has developed great relationships with floor covering dealers throughout Northern California.  

“Both Ricky’s and Chris’s background and sales experience will serve as great assets as we expand our category offerings,” said Battles. “We look forward to having both of them as part of the Sphinx team and look for great things to come in Northern California.”

With over 10 years of floor covering experience, Stockwell will be responsible for developing new business and managing sales for existing dealers who carry Sphinx area rugs, broadloom, and pad in Eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Sphinx, Kim was with Mohawk Industries for eight years as a territory manager for the Fashion Division, representing Karastan Broadloom and Rugs, CustomWeave, and Ralph Lauren. Most recently she has been an independent sales agent representing various home furnishing lines in furniture, broadloom, area rugs, and top of bedding.

“Kim has a great knowledge of the flooring industry, and has developed strong relationships with floor covering and furniture dealers throughout the New England area,” said Belak. “Her experience, knowledge, and professionalism will be a huge asset to our Sphinx customers.”
