Interior Lifestyle China is set for Oct. 12-15 in Shanghai. The show, which debuted in 2007, has attracted a large number of leading lifestyle product brand names and designers, according to show organizers. The 2011 show has increased in scale by 12.5% as compared to the previous year and will cover 18,000 sq. meters of trade space.

Susan Pan, president of Tayohya, a company that has exhibited since the show debuted, said Interior Lifestyle China offers the growing Chinese consumer goods market a reliable platform to learn about high quality interior products and lifestyle brands.

“The biggest challenge for brands wanting to enter this enormous market is education. Chinese culture is so different from Western values, so it is important to have this show, where designers, retailers, suppliers and distributors can exchange ideas, learn from others’ experience and excite buyers about their products,” she said.

“Messe Frankfurt has organised a solid show that allows brands to showcase their way of living to a vast market,” added Can Yue Maeck, general manager for Miji Electronics and Appliances. “Evidence of a successful fair is the number of quality brands participating and Interior Lifestyle China has certainly demonstrated this strength.”

Besides the variety of Chinese brands, a number of international exhibitors have already confirmed their participation. Among them are Likuai from China (dining/living) who represent various world renowned houseware products, Tramontina from Brazil (cookware, dining), Berghoff from Belgium (cookware, dining), Silampos from Portugal (cookware, dining) as well as country and region pavilions with products made and designed in Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
