Q.E.P. Co. Inc., a supplier of QEP, Roberts, Capitol and Harris brand products, has completed the acquisition of Porta-Nails Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Porta-Nails, founded in 1979 as Porta Tools, is a manufacturer and supplier of hardwood floor fastening tools, private label specialty tools and specialty nails and cleats for the hardwood flooring industry worldwide under the Porta-Nailer, Hammerhead and Portamatic brands.

Jamie Clingan, sr. vp sales and marketing said, “This acquisition is a natural add-on to our existing business. It is a key component of our strategy to move towards a full line supplier to the flooring industry.”
