Starting today, HGTV and Shaw fans can begin registering online for a chance to win a 1,000 sq. ft. space designed by HGTV interior designer Vern Yip. Participating in the second annual HGTV Urban Oasis, Tuftex, the premier carpet division of Shaw, is a sponsor of the modern, custom-designed residence located on the 35th floor of the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago.

The residence will be the grand prize of the HGTV Urban Oasis Giveaway, in which viewers can enter online daily at HGTV.com or HGTV’s FrontDoor.com for a chance to win, starting August 18 and continuing through October 7 at 5 p.m. EST. The winner will be announced in December.

“We are absolutely ready to kick off this highly anticipated HGTV Urban Oasis Giveaway. Through partnering with HGTV, we’ve come to truly appreciate and understand the value our consumers find in exploring specially-designed homes,” said Kathy Young, director of marketing for Shaw Floors. “By marrying the creativity of designer Vern Yip with the premier Trump brand and trusted HGTV expertise, we know that this Urban Oasis will provide another unmatched visualization of a beautiful home, complete with stunning Shaw floors and the Chicago skyline.”

HGTV viewers and Shaw fans can take a virtual tour of the residence now at HGTV.com. Showcasing an array of hardwood, tile and cut-and-bound rugs from the HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw collection, the residence will be completely furnished and includes one bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, a gourmet kitchen, and breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline.

Among the HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw products that will be used are Campbell, a Shaw 5" engineered hardwood plank floor, which will be installed in the living room; Mixed Up mosaic slate in a backsplash in the kitchen and on the walls of the powder room; Domus floor tile in the master bathroom; and several cut-and-bound rugs made from carpet styles manufactured by Tuftex. The Tuftex styles include Snap Shot in the living room and bedroom sitting area and High Style Texture in the bedroom.
