Amtico International has been certified to the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) by the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). The certification recognizes Amtico’s manufacturing facility in Madison, Ga., for safety and health management systems that exceed OSHA standards.
“Employee safety is our ultimate goal,” said Rick Zelley, director of Amtico International Manufacturing. “It is a part of our culture and is a process we never stop improving. We strive to not only meet OSHA standards but to exceed them to ensure our associates are healthy and safe.”
The facility manufactures resilient flooring for commercial and residential customers throughout North America and is also ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. Products made at the plant are FloorScore certified for low-VOC emissions and include recycled content.
