As part of its first HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw promotional package, Shaw’s “30 Days of HGTV HOME” will feature a month-long Facebook challenge for the consumer audience. The 2011 promotional launch, running Sept. 1-30, will offer consumers the Floor A Day Giveaway, an opportunity to earn a voucher for a free HGTV HOME tool bag and a free HGTV HOME area rug offer upon purchase.
“There are a lot of ‘firsts’ for us within this dynamic HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw promotional package. This is our first promotion for our HGTV collection and first Facebook promotion,” said Heather Yamada, marketing manager. “There are certainly a lot of things the 30 Days of HGTV HOME campaign does to engage the consumer in a really fun and interactive way.”
Through the Floor A Day Giveaway, visitors can win a new HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw floor atfacebook.com/shawfloorsby voting for their favorite of five rooms featuring HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw. The designs are created by nationally read DIY and design bloggers, according to Shaw.
Facebook visitors can view the rooms and with each vote, earn another Floor A Day Giveaway entry. Floor A Day Giveaway registrants will also receive a printable voucher for a free HGTV HOME Bag to be redeemed at a local HGTV HOME retailer. Additionally, when consumers make an HGTV HOME Flooring purchase, they will also receive a redemption form for a free 4’ by 6’ area rug from the HGTV HOME Inspire area rug collection.
