The Green Building Association recently recognized several environmentally friendly buildings designed and constructed in Central Pennsylvania. The event was hosted by Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) at the Wildwood Nature Center, Harrisburg, Pa. Five businesses were honored for their professional contributions throughout the Harrisburg/York areas.

The Green Building Association of Central Pennsylvania promotes environmentally responsible design, planning, construction and operation of the built environment through education, outreach and networking. Formed in 1997 by design and construction professionals, the membership is a broad-based constituency including architects, engineers, builders, contractors, developers, financiers, facility managers, government officials, interior designers, landscape architects, specifiers, realtors, urban planners, consultants, educators, students, and environmentalists.
