Wools of New Zealand will debut its new spring sales event, “Brilliant Choices,” at Surfaces 2012 in Las Vegas. The Wools of New Zealand pavilion at Surfaces will include the booths of 23 Wools of New Zealand brand partners eager to talk about New Zealand wool.

“Brilliant Choices” will be the hot topic at a breakfast for premier partners, retailers and their agents at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, at Mandalay Bay. Updates on promotional programs and LEED compliant initiatives that build on the value of the Wools of New Zealand brand also will be discussed. Included in these efforts are the Wool College, Wool Benefit System, Premier Partner Program and Wool: Clean Air Certification, each of which will be fully promoted at Surfaces.

The theme of the Wools of New Zealand sales event focuses on the vivid color options available with New Zealand wool, which has excellent dyeing characteristics that create long-lasting colors and clean pastel shades, according to WONZ. “Brilliant Choices” runs from April 1–May 15 in Premier Partner showrooms. As part of the event, donations will be made to Heifer International’s Shear Joy Program, which provides sheep to needy families around the world.

The 20,590 sq. ft. Wools of New Zealand brand area will be identified with floor stickers and signage, accompanied by maps that will be made available to retailers. Surfaces visitors also will be invited to have a little fun at the Wools of New Zealand booth, #S6135. They can try their luck and their hand at arts and crafts: they can Build-a-Sheep (a small, stuffed toy to take home with them) and enter a drawing to win a display sheep for their showroom.
