New Carpet One welcome mats support breast cancer research
Carpet One Floor & Home introduces its new collection of pink ribbon welcome mats to support breast cancer research. The Carpet One Welcomes Your Support campaign has been raising funds to support organizations and researchers searching for a cure since 2004. This year’s collection features 12 new designs.
Each welcome mat sale helps The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and the Canadian Cancer Society find a cure for breast cancer. The indoor/outdoor welcome mats are each emblazoned with a pink ribbon to remind us of those near and dear who have battled with breast cancer. Twenty-five percent of the sales of these mats will be donated to BCRF in the US and the Society in Canada.

This year, three of the new welcome mat designs were named by Carpet One Floor & Home’s Facebook fans. Hope Springs is a green and white lily of the valley mat named by Sheila Leach. Change of Seasons, named by Jackie Michaud, features an elegant branch with leaves that to Jackie represent new life. The third mat, Joyful Beginning, was named by Tina Casey. This cheerful mat with brightly colored flowers represents the beginning of a new life for all those who have survived a battle with breast cancer.
