Four Coverings 2012 exhibitors received this year’s Best in Show booth awards. The judges conferred the honors during day three of the four-day annual tile and stone conference at the Orange County Convention Center.

Cerdomusreceived the Overall Best in Show title, winning with a space designed to offer a hip, club-like ambiance. Its hub was a working lounge of dozens of modern white club chairs where visitors and company representatives could conduct their business in a comfortable, casual setting in a black and white theme.

For the third consecutive year,Porcelanite/Lamosareceived a Best Booth ribbon. This time around the company switched up its look to incorporate row-upon-row of vignette settings to show off its latest introductions while suggesting application ideas. Hospitality in the space was incorporated along with work areas for the sales team to sit and meet with customers.

Taualso capped its Coverings appearance with a win. The company made a statement in simplicity with an open all-access construction to showcase its new onyx lookalike porcelain, Onice.

Lowitz & Companywas the fourth honoree, acknowledged as being the small space winner. The wood and fiberboard walls provided a backdrop for the neutral palette of the company’s handmade collections.
