HOK Product Design, Mannington Commercial, Pallas Textiles and the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics will host a panel discussion and complimentary brunch at this year’s Healthcare Design Conference, to discuss trends in healthcare design, their influence on today’s healthcare environment, and the benefits and challenges of creating complementary products for healthcare projects.

CEU-accredited, the panel will be moderated by Cheryl Durst, Executive Vice President and CEO of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and will take place 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 13.

The challenges of bringing together clients, designers and manufacturers to create effective healthcare spaces will be discussed, as panelists share insights gleaned during design of a cross-platform family of products developed by healthcare designers for healthcare projects. Supported by qualitative and quantitative research, the team focused on the luxury trend during product development. The products – the Vivendi Collection of flooring from Mannington Commercial and Valetudo privacy curtains from Pallas Textiles – are meant to work independently or together in a “goes not matches” manner.

Panelists include: Donald Cremers, senior designer, HOK; Natalie Jones, vice president, Commercial Brand Development and Creative Product, Mannington; Dave White, general manager and vice president, Pallas Textiles; and Ardis Hutchis, lead of architecture and interiors for the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.
