Mullican Flooring has introduced its new Hillshire Collection, the company’s first American-made engineered hardwood flooring. The new collection represents Mullican’s effort to shift Asian-based production of its engineered products to U.S. soil.

“We’re making Hillshire at our new facility in Washington County, Tenn.,” said Brian Greenwell, Mullican’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re so proud to bring a large segment of our engineered manufacturing to America and at a time when job creation and made-in-the-USA products are so important to our economy.”

Best known for its high-quality, solid hardwood floors, Mullican purchased a 309,000-square-foot office, warehouse and manufacturing facility in 2011, with the idea of moving its headquarters and launching engineered flooring production at the site.

Hillshire, a 3/8-inch thick, prefinished flooring, features 10 selections in oak and hickory – all available in 3-inch and 5-inch widths. The products carry a 15-year finish warranty.

Current selections include oak suede, red oak natural, oak gunstock, oak saddle, oak bridle, oak caramel, oak bordeaux, hickory winchester, hickory natural and hickory saddle. Other species will soon be available.
