Hartwig Siemerling, a flooring veteran with more than 10 years of industry experience including the last three as CEO of Robina Floors, is retiring. He will be suceeded by Jason Loh, founder and president of Redwood Trading Group, an importer of building materials and accessories.

Robina said Siemerling was "at the vanguard of the locking laminate development in Germany" and is widely credited with helping to innovate the locking mechanisms used in laminate and hardwood flooring today. His flooring experience includes working as COO of Witex USA in 1997, then becoming CEO of the laminate flooring maker in 2001. Four years later, he was named CEO of Robina Floors, helping guide the company through its launch and overseeing the development of its flooring products featuring the 5G Valinge locking system.

Loh, Siemerling's successor, will join Robina with a range of corporate experience, including as president of Redwood Trading Group. There he "successfully guided the company to multi-million dollar sales within two years," according to Robina. Additionally, Loh has experience as a management consultant in the financial and technology sectors.
