The Draper Blend from the Stix Collection by Walker Zanger.

Walker Zanger has recently launched its "Stix" Collection -- made of poured and hand-cut glass mosaic tiles. As an extension of the company's "Weave" Collection, which introduced linear glass to the market, Stix is thin and slim with a dynamic range of tile sizes that invites creativity. With its unique shape and iridized finish, Stix is at home in a wide variety of commercial and residential vertical applications -- complementing styles from modern to spa to transitional.

Stix is available in five solid colors and six blends -- pairing cool neutral grays with colors such as gold, bronze and white. The color is enhanced by the luminosity provided by the glass itself, which is further refined by a subtle organic texture visible through it, and the unique feel that can only be accomplished with hand-cut tile.

"Stix plays to the popularity of linear shapes and patterns and offers on-trend color combinations for both indoor and outdoor veritcal spaces," said Jared Becker, Walker Zanger Vice President of Design and Marketing. "Depending upon the other design elements with which it is used, it can take a quiet supporting role or play a charismatic lead."

The mosaics which can be achieved with Stix are possible due to its variety of sizes; the line includes 1- x 4-, 3/4- x 4- and 1/2- x 4-inch sizes in a linear blend -- making it the ideal palette for fluid, almost graphical, applications.
