Expansión Magazine has recognized Dal-Tile Mexico, Monterrey, as a Top Company 2012 “The Place Where Everyone Wants to Work” in the category of companies with more than 3,000 employees.

Every year Expansión, the most renowned business magazine in Mexico, publishes the Top Companies in Mexico, a special edition including a report of the companies with the best human resources practices in the country. The Top Companies edition aims to understand and present the reality of the Mexican business environment in terms of organizational culture and human capital growth.

Earlier this spring, Dal-Tile commenced production at a new manufacturing site in Salamanca, Mexico. The start-up was approximately one month ahead of schedule. In 2012, Dal-Tile will produce approximately 30 million square feet, and its production capacity will grow to 90 million square feet in 2013. The capacity will be dedicated to producing high quality, commodity floor tile primarily for the Mexican market to take advantage of the market growth in Mexico for this segment.
