Custom Cool, a member of GoodWeave's child-labor-free certification program, has launched its second annual rug raffle, featuring "Summer Ikat." For as little as $25, entrants have a chance to win the GoodWeave certified 8' x 10' wool, nettle and silk rug. Hand knotted in Nepal and retailing over $7,000, "Summer Ikat" was designed and donated by Custom Cool, a luxury design company based in Quogue, NY.

All proceeds benefit GoodWeave’s programs to end child labor in the rug industry and provide educational opportunities to children in the weaving communities of Nepal, India and Afghanistan. “Custom Cool is proud to work with GoodWeave to improve the lives of ‘carpet kids’—transitioning them from loom to classroom and certifying every single one of our rugs to be child-labor-free,” said CEO and design director Eliza Gatfield.

Raffle tickets are $25 each, five for $100, 10 for $200, 25 for $500, 50 for $1,000 or 125 for $2,500. Individuals may purchase tickets at GoodWeave.org/CustomCoolRaffle through August 23, or by contacting the GoodWeave office at 202-234-9050. The drawing will be held in Custom Cool’s Quogue, NY showroom on August 25. Entrants need not be present to win.
