ARDEX Americas, an Aliquippa-based manufacturing firm serving North, Central and South America and the Caribbean Basin, was recently named a Healthiest Employer of Western Pennsylvania for 2012 by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

“ARDEX Americas takes the health of its more than 250 employees very seriously,” said President and CEO Stephan M. Liozu. “Through creative initiatives and programs, ARDEX employees are proactively involved in remaining healthy and, as a result, they remain productive members of our team.”

The Pittsburgh Business Times Healthiest Employer awards program recognizes organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace. Participants were asked about the scope, staff involvement, results and upper-level management support for health and wellness efforts at their companies.

“We have seen many successes with our health program initiatives,” said Breanne Thompson, ARDEX Americas benefits manager. “Participation and awareness are key components to the many offerings the Human Resources department promotes across the organization.”

Winning companies were selected based on scores determined by a survey of the company’s wellness programs. The survey was conducted by Indianapolis-based Healthiest Employer, LLC. For more information about ARDEX Americas visit www.ardexamericas.com or call (888) 512-7339.
