The Mohawk Group has named Rochelle Routman, a proven leader and expert sustainability strategist, as the company’s new Director of Sustainability. Widely regarded as a pioneer in sustainable business, Routman has almost three decades experience driving sustainability programs in both private industry and the public service sector.

Routman comes to the Mohawk Group from Southern Company and Georgia Power, where she served as Chair of the Sustainability Working Group and Environmental Specialist. She previously held sustainability leadership positions with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. She is a member of the Georgia Solar Energy Association and Membership Chair for the Green Chamber of the South.

She has demonstrated outstanding leadership across multiple complex projects, and she brings a significant depth of knowledge and experience to her new role. Routman received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia, and earned a Master of Science in Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has a Certification in Hazardous Materials Management (CHMM) and received accreditation in LEED Operations & Maintenance from the Green Building Certification Institute.
