Shaw Floors is pleased to announce that its flooring products are featured in a stylish nursery created for the first child of Iraq war veteran, actor, motivational speaker and Dancing with the Stars season 13 champion J.R. Martinez and his partner Diana Gonzalez-Jones. Designed by Little Crown Interiors, a Los Angeles-based design firm dedicated to infant and children’s spaces, Lauryn Anabelle Martinez’s nursery includes Shaw’s Cape Ann hardwood flooring in the color Rockport and Shaw Living’s Posh area rug in Pearl, which work together with the room’s walls and curtains to establish an elegant, lightly colored backdrop within the space. The centerpiece of the nursery is a unique mural that celebrates the arrival of Lauryn Anabelle, who is nicknamed Belle, and honors the memories of the baby’s two namesakes -- Diana’s sister Lauren, who passed away earlier this year, and J.R.’s late sister Anabel. The mural depicts the couple’s sisters as angels that watch over little Belle as she sleeps.
