LATICRETE, a global manufacturer of installation and finishing systems for the building industry, provided all the tile and stone installation materials for the award-winning locker room renovation which took place at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon. Designed by GBD Architects Incorporated, it was recently honored by being named the "Expansion/Renovation Project of the Year" by the North American Association of Club Athletic Directors.

GBD Associate Patrick Moore, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, praised all vendors who supplied building materials to the project by stating, "Team, I just wanted to pass along a note of congratulations. The MAC men’s locker room renovation project we completed together last year has been named the Expansion/Renovation Project of the Year by the North American Association of Club Athletic Directors. Another feather in your caps for a job well done!"

Prior to winning the award, Moore had stated, "This club thinks long-term, and because of that, we needed an installation system that would perform at high levels for 50 years, one that needed virtually no maintenance after the tile was installed… one that would last forever. We all knew LATICRETE products were bulletproof, and that's a major reason why we specified the LATICRETE System."

United Tile, the Northwest United States distributor with showrooms in Portland, Spokane, South Seattle (Renton), and North Seattle (Everett), provided the Crossville tile and LATICRETE installation materials for this award-winning job.
