New home sales and marketing professionals and designers are encouraged to submit entries for the 2013 National Sales and Marketing Awards, sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Sales and Marketing Council. The awards, better known as "The Nationals," pay tribute to superior sales and marketing achievements by individual sales and marketing professionals, home builders and associates.

Now in its 32nd year, The Nationals is considered the nation's largest and most prestigious competition for sales and marketing professionals and communities. Entries can be submitted in nearly 50 awards categories and include recognition for professional excellence in design, architecture, advertising, marketing, merchandising and sales achievement.

"New and exciting concepts are emerging in our industry, and these awards are designed to spotlight and recognize those individuals and companies who are advancing the art of sales and  marketing," said Dorothy Tayloe, MIRM, Director of Sales for Daniel Homes and 2013 chair of The Nationals. "This program gives our new home sales and marketing professionals the rare chance to connect and celebrate the talent that still permeates the building industry."

Gold and Silver award winners will be honored during the 2013 NAHB International Builders' Show at the National Sales & Marketing Awards Ceremony on Jan. 22, 2013, in Las Vegas. Daniel R. Levitan, principal of Levitan & Associates, and Doug Bauer, CEO of TriPointe Homes, will be named "Legends of Residential Marketing" during the program for their innovative leadership in new-home marketing.

The Nationals are co-sponsored by Wells Fargo. For questions regarding sponsorship, log onto www.thenationals.com, or contact Steve Bunce at sbunce@nahb.org or (800) 368-5242 x8690.
